Let’s put a stop to the most over used font in the world.
Papyrus.
It is used everywhere for everything. If it is ethnic- lets use papyrus. if its health and beauty- lets use papyrus. if its dated- lets use papyrus. if it has to do with nature- lets use papyrus. you get my point.
I’m begging you- designers, restaurant owners, stay at home moms making yard sale flyers- lets take a minute and find an alternative to using that horrible font . And the alternative is not comic sans.

This is very true, although Comic Sans seems to be generally overused more often. There’s even a website called “Ban Comic Sans”.
I think Comic Sans is too easy to hate - it’s hideous. Papyrus really wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t for the gross overuse. While comic sans was designed by microsoft to emulate comic book text for informal type in chat apps & word documents, papyrus was hand drawn way back in 1982 and is[was] a decent typeface suitable for print. It must have looked pretty cool back then. It really wasn’t until it came pre-installed on windows xp machines that it started showing up on neighborhood pizzeria luch take out menus. But, regardless of it’s origin, I agree that it should have died with the crocodile hunter. And since we can’t actually stop it’s use, we’ll have to do the next best thing - ridicule anyone who uses it without mercy.
There’s actually some sites about papyrus too, here’s a few:

Say what you want about Papyrus, but it’s still killer on “Serenity by Jan”.
